Privacy Policy

This policy explains what personal data merchantofone.com (the “Store”), operated by Code Shock, LLC, collects and how we use it. We collect as little as possible — only what’s needed to sell and deliver a digital product.

1. What we collect

When you buy something, we record your email address and details of thepurchase (the product, amount paid, and timestamp). Payment card details are handled entirely by Stripe — we never receive or store them. If you create an account to re-download, we store your email and basic account metadata.

2. How we use it

We use your email and purchase records to deliver your files, send your receipt, let you re-download past purchases, and provide support. We do not sell your data or use it for third-party advertising.

3. Service providers

We rely on a few trusted processors to run the Store:

• Stripe — payment processing.
• Resend — sending delivery and receipt emails.
• Google Firebase — hosting, database, file storage, and authentication.
• Google reCAPTCHA — automated-abuse prevention on product pages (via Firebase App Check).

Each processes data only as needed to provide its service, under its own privacy terms.

4. Cookies and local storage

Public pages don’t use advertising cookies, and we don’t track you across sites. A few narrow, functional exceptions:

• Wishlist — stored only in your browser’s local storage on the device you’re using; it never leaves your device and isn’t tied to an account.
• View counting — on a product page we count anonymous, aggregate page views. We store no personal data and set no tracking cookie for this; your browser locally remembers which products it has already counted so a refresh isn’t double-counted.
• Authentication — essential storage to keep you signed in.

Product pages are additionally protected by Google reCAPTCHA (via Firebase App Check) to prevent automated abuse of the view counter. reCAPTCHA runs invisibly in the background and may collect device and usage information, subject to the GooglePrivacy Policy andTerms of Service.

5. Data retention

We keep purchase records for as long as needed to provide re-downloads and to meet legal, accounting, and tax obligations.

6. Your rights

You can request a copy of the personal data we hold about you, or ask us to delete it, by emailing us. We’ll respond within a reasonable time. Note that some records may be retained where required by law.

7. Children

The Store is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their data.

8. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date above reflects the current version.
